The 10 least expensive market-rate homes for sale in busy, busy Charlestown at the end of last month ranged from $405,000 to $599,000, according to an analysis from real estate research site NeighborhoodX.
The least expensive of the 10 was a 698-square-foot 2-BR at 356-358 Main Street (pictured above). The priciest was a 1,550-square-foot house at 9 Cook Street Court that it’s listing said was “in need of [a] complete gut renovation.”
See below for the full rundown.
A few caveats on the NeighborhoodX numbers. The analysis excluded studios and properties that cannot be purchased with conventional financing and those with a long-term, rent-controlled tenant in place.
Age-restricted housing and housing designated as affordable were also not included nor were certain listings with incomplete or contradictory info.
