Chelsea's Priciest Apt. Complex Puts More Units Up for Lease

New, 1 comment

The One North of Boston complex at 100 Heard Street in Chelsea has been called that city's priciest apartment complex ever. Yet, even with high-for-Chelsea rents, One North is a steal by Boston standards. And that's kind of the point. Developer Gate Residential, the same folks behind Somerville's Maxwell's Green, have long touted it as a close-by (as in one mile away) alternative to actually living in Boston. One North's 230-unit first phase, which dropped in 2014, is nearly entirely leased. Now comes the 222-unit second phase, which just commenced leasing and which comes with the same amenities as the initial one. Said amenities include an indoor basketball court, yoga studios, and two outdoor pools. As for rents at One North overall, studios start at $1,795 a month; 1-BRs at $1,903; 2-BRs at $2,390; and 3-BRs at $3,175. What'd you think?
