See a South End Loft Reborn, Giant Price-Jump Included

New, 1 comment

Above is the finished product of a renovation of a 2,601-square-foot loft at the Boston City Lights building at 1154 Washington Street in the changing-est area of the South End. The spread traded back in March 2012 for $950,000. The new owner then set about redoing it, axing one bedroom in the process (to bring it to a total of three, plus a playroom and/or office) and adding one half-bath (for a total of three and a half). Unit 3 is now again new to the market through Gibson Sotheby's. __

The pre-renovation photos are above. Unit 3 at 1154 Washington is now asking $2,300,000, well more than double what it sold for four years ago. Stay tuned.
