'Tis almost March and with that month's arrival comes the promise of spring. And, with that, the promise of consistently warmer weather. And, with that, daydreams of weekend getaways to one of the many beach-y communities near Boston. The below chart from real estate research concern NeighborhoodX very plainly spells out which of those communities is the cheapest, and which the most expensive, for buying a single-family house as of Jan. 1, 2016. Nantucket leads all comers at $465 a square foot for houses sold in 2015.
