When we last checked in with the 3,799-square-foot Colonial Victorian at 68 Pinckney Street in Beacon Hill, it was back on the sales market after a months-long hiatus and a series of price-chops from its original $4,100,000. That was in October, when the 5-BR, 3.5-BA townhouse with a private roof deck and on-street parking was asking $3,450,000. A deal for 68 Pinckney closed just over a week ago and the final price was more than respectable for a townhouse of its class, never mind the final cut. The 10-room spread in the end went for $3,250,000—or $855 and change a square foot.
