The 4,329-square-foot Victorian at 443 Marlborough Street in Back Bay just hit the sales market for $4,795,000, or just over $1,100 a square foot. The 14-room, five-fireplace townhouse dates from the mid-1880s and looks like it has, indeed, been preserved in some kind of Gilded Age aspic.
The spread also comes with four parking spaces, including two tandem garaged ones. We all know how valuable parking can be in Boston, so it's difficult to decide what's more enviable: those spaces or the dedicated music room.
