Whitwell Penthouse Offers Deep Look at Beacon Hill's Most Anticipated Luxury Conversion

New, 1 comment

It's carved out of a former Suffolk U. building

One of the more anticipated luxury residential conversions in Boston, if not the most anticipated in Beacon Hill, is very much under way at 32 Derne Street at the site of a former Suffolk University building. It carries the sufficiently patrician name the Whitwell and will have 14 condos over six floors.

The newly listed Penthouse 6AB at the project provides the deepest dive yet into what the finished product will look like (construction's scheduled to wrap in the fall; these are renderings). The 6,270-square-foot spread comes with six bedrooms and an astounding seven full bathrooms (and two halves). It wants $12,750,000 through Gibson Sotheby's.
