Developer Tom McKay has filed plans with the city to build a 15-story, 74-room hotel on a parking lot at 88 North Washington Street in Boston's Bulfinch Triangle. The inn would join a plethora of hotels going up around Boston, ones adding thousands of rooms to a market with some of the nation's highest nightly rates.
The hotel would also go up next to another big-time development in Bulfinch: a multi-pronged project slated to add a 220-room hotel, retail, and 239 units of affordable and so-called workforce housing to the former Parcel 1B. Stay tuned.
