Landlord Boston Properties pitched back in December a massive redo of the public space of its 100 Federal Street skyscraper in Boston's Financial District. The Boston Civic Design Commission just signed off on the plans, which include 8,500 square feet of retail, 500 square feet of kiosk space, and an 8,990-square-foot, street-level winter garden under plenty of glass.
And! Per Catherine Carlock at the Biz Journal, "Renderings show a plan for a 'farm-to-table' restaurant as well as multiple large-scale television screens." No word on the construction timeline yet as the project still needs a green light from the Boston Redevelopment Authority. Stay tuned.
