When last we checked in with the 4,602-square-foot Colonial at 43 Reservoir Street in West Cambridge, it was mid-September 2015, and the 10-room, six-fireplace house was newly asking $3,675,000 through Coldwell Banker. It soon slid off the market after barely a month, and has only now just returned (again through Coldwell Banker).
The 7-BR, 3.5-BA dates from 1913 and comes with a library and an upstairs family room that might double as a billiards room (per the listing). There is also an unfinished basement leading directly to the backyard.
This go-round, 43 Reservoir wants $3,600,000 even, or $75K off its asking. Will that move it in Cambridge's otherwise lightning-quick housing market? Stay tuned.
