Roxbury Colonial Revival Quite Possibly Boston's Stateliest Renovation Candidate

New, 1 comment

New to the market asking $769,000

The 8,855-square-foot Colonial Revival at 250 Seaver Street in Roxbury dates from the early 1910s. Within its immensity are at least 10 bedrooms and an in-law apartment as well as touches from its origins more than a century ago. Note the grand staircase in particular and the double-bowed front.

The house has clearly seen better days, however. So its new $769,000 price tag is but the first financial hurdle for any buyer. Still, 250 Seaver presents one of those urban fixer-upper dreams come true. Look around.
