East Boston Queen Anne Arrives With Tantalizing Conversion Possibility

Renovated house wants $719,000 first

The 2,863-square-foot Queen Anne at 191 Trenton Street in the august Eagle Hill section of East Boston last traded in February 2009 for $225,000. It was then seriously updated, including the bathrooms, and is now on the market again.

The Re/Max Executive Realty listing offers any buyer the option of spinning the 12-room spread back into the two-family it once was (or, presumably, renting out the top portion and keeping the lower level, or vice versa). First, there is the matter of the bill: $719,000.
