Boston Condo Price Ranges by Neighborhood: Back Bay, Beacon Hill, and the Waterfront Lead

New, 1 comment

Even least expensive listings pricier than most expensive elsewhere

It will surprise absolutely no one (we hope) that Back Bay, Beacon Hill, and Waterfront sellers ask the most for their condos. Real estate research site NeighborhoodX's analysis of market-rate condo listings in March starkly confirms this.

As the chart below shows, Back Bay's condo price range starts at a formidable $681 a square foot and ends at $3,106. Beacon Hill's starts at $662 and ends at $2,484. The Waterfront's starts at $551 and goes to $1,717.

The priciest asking prices in Back Bay, Beacon Hill, and the Waterfront, then, are a lot more expensive than the priciest in others. But even the least expensive in this trio might be ahead of the priciest elsewhere. Check out JP's upper limit ($620) and Beacon Hill's lower limit ($662).
