In Boston, $2,000 a month apparently rents a decent foothold in the city, one that may or may not include luxuries such as in-unit laundry and parking. The other theme running through the price point's possibilities right now is that they're outside the central downtown area. So, think Brighton and Dorchester rather than Downtown Crossing and Back Bay. Still, some nifty selections.
Let's start down in Hyde Park. Unit 3 at 1065 River Street is a 3-BR, 1-BA spread over 1,500 square feet, and it comes with a sizable porch.
Unit 5 at 46 Englewood Avenue in Brighton has two bedrooms and one bathroom.
Out in Eastie, Unit 9 at 1030 Bennington Street comes with an off-street parking space included in the rent. The 3-BR, 1-BA runs to 1,000 square feet.
Unit 2 at 64 Thetford Avenue in Dorchester also comes with one off-street parking space. And it has laundry in-unit. The 3-BR, 1-BA runs to 850 square feet.
Finally, Unit 2 at 15 Fawndale Road in the JP-Roslindale borderlands comes with in-unit laundry. It's a 2-BR, 1-BA over 1,037 square feet.
