It’s going to be an absolute scorcher this weekend: sunny, humid, high temperatures, the works. That means one thing: trying to stay cool. And probably the best way to stay cool is with central air-conditioning.
Our fair region is not known for central air, however—we’re a land of window units and fans and trying desperately to be standing in the right place at the right time to catch the next breeze.
But there are publicly accessible places throughout Greater Boston where one can enjoy central air without having to buy something. Libraries, for one. Some tourist traps, for another.
Where else can you find free central AC in the Boston area? Tell us in the comments below. It’s Friday Open Thread time and we (and your fellow readers) could use the help.
