Developer Criterion Development Partners has pitched a three-building complex with 260 apartments on a parking lot across from the Forest Hills T and commuter rail station in Jamaica Plain.
Nothing is finalized yet, but the complex would join other transit-oriented residential projects in JP in recent years, including the Commons at Forest Hills and the redevelopment in Jackson Square.
As for what’s been dubbed the Residences at Forest Hills, that complex’s apartments would be a mix of studios, 1-BRs, 2-BRs, and 3-BRs, plus 3-BR townhouses. There would be parking for 146 and 5,500 square feet of retail and/or restaurant space fronting on Washington Street.
Criterion’s proposal is currently with the Boston Redevelopment Authority. Stay tuned.
