The Boston region’s prime rental season is almost upon us like a thunderstorm whose downpours prospective and current tenants cannot escape. And, while rents have marched steadily upward for eons, well outpacing incomes, there are some signs that the rental market hereabouts is actually turning in favor of tenants.
So! Our latest Friday Open Thread throws open the door to all of you currently leasing in the Boston area. What’s the climate out there? Worse than in years past? Better? Is your rent going up in the fall? Down?
First and foremost, let us know in the comments section below where you live (neighborhood suffices, though you’re welcome to be more specific) and what you’re paying per month. Any other details appreciated.
Current and future apartment hunters will thank you.
