Renovated contemporary colonial in Cambridge drops again for $2.25M

Had been asking $2.5M

The 2,730-square-foot contemporary colonial at 23 Banks Street in the Harvard Square area of Cambridge just hit the sales market for $2,250,000. It had been on sale for as much as $2,500,000 earlier this year.

Newton-based firm ARCO oversaw a gut-renovation of the place and Simplemente Blanco the interior design (that company’s owner, Fernanda Bourlot, is also the listing agent for 23 Banks).

The work left the 3-BR, 4.5-BA house with a clean, airy look, never mind touches such as Carrara-marble countertops and a finished lower level with a full bathroom. Have a look-see.
