Downtown Crossing is going through a transformation of sorts. Millennium Tower is getting a flood of new residents that are closing, and the building is starting to hum with lights, music, and food from Mina at the Tower, their private restaurant for owners only.
This image captures the view from the restaurant, looking down at the discount shopping destination, TJ Maxx (when you’re paying so much for a new home, you’ve gotta save money somewhere). Most interesting is the view of the ampitheater below, which will truly depend on programming to make it truly hum with activity. Trees have come in, and the facade to the Downtown Crossing T station is looking shiny and new. Things are looking much better than when this area was a hole in the ground. More to come.
