Southie’s Andrew Square area is already one of the busiest in Greater Boston in terms of new development.
The bulk of that development is coming via Washington Village, a nine-building complex spread over nearly 5 acres and including 656 apartments and condos.
Now comes word of a proposed project at 33-39 Ward Street. There, Boston developer Anthony Saladino wants to construct 16 condos. The 2- and 3-BR units would range from 1,067 to 2,104 square feet; and six would include balconies.
The city has yet to sign off on the Ward Street plan. Stay tuned.
