‘Airy’ describes it well
The William Raveis listing for the 3,524-square-foot townhouse at 49 Helene Road in Newton’s Waban village touts its design as in the “avant-garde” style.
The interior architecture certainly is unusual: a lot of arching, angled open space and consequent airiness. Federal this ain’t.
Cheap it ain’t, either. The asking price for 49 Helene is $1,425,000. It was as much as $1,525,000 last summer, though.
