Boston is the fifth-best city in America for football fans, according to an analysis from personal finance website WalletHub.
The city trailed only Green Bay, Pittsburgh, New York, and Dallas in measures such as the performances of its region’s professional and collegiate teams, ticket prices, and NFL stadium capacity.
The Patriots’ performance of late seemed to lift the city in the WalletHub stats: The site ranked the Pats No. 1 in performance compared with other franchises; and Boston fans apparently have the third-highest level of engagement with their NFL team.
And why not? The Pats in the Super Bowl seems to be good for business.
