Developer Tishman Speyer is out with renderings of the private roof decks off the penthouses in the under-construction residential component of Pier 4 at 140 Northern Avenue in the busy, busy Seaport District.
Recall that the project includes a 13-story office building and a nine-story condo building. That building is due to have 106 units ranging from one- to four-bedrooms.
Each unit will have outdoor space, but only the penthouses will have private roof decks. These decks are the largest of their kind for sale in Boston right now, according to the developer.
They range in size from around 800 to more than 2,500 square feet. Sales launched in late May; and Tishman Speyer just announced a lease with restaurateur Kristin Canty to open a farm-to-table eatery in some of the ground-floor commercial space.
Construction is supposed to wrap at Pier 4 by next fall.
