Rebuilt Davis Square townhouse with sliding barn door, farmer sink on sale for $1.55M

Four living levels

The bones of the townhouse at 28 Hawthorne Street in Somerville’s Davis Square date from 1920, but the pile was rehabbed and rebuilt this year.

The seven-room, 2,310-square-foot spread with four living levels is now on sale through the Covelle & Cohen team at Re/Max Leading Edge for $1,549,000.

It includes touches such as a sliding barn door, a farmer sink, private space out back, and a poplar-wood wine rack in the finished basement.

Because a single-family also went up on the same lot, 28 Hawthorne is technically on sale as a condo.
