South Boston’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade, the most famous of its kind in the United States, starts at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 19, outside the Broadway stop of the Red Line and ends at Old Colony Road.
Check out the map of the route, courtesy of the parade’s official website.
Given the event’s heavy attendance—it’s also probably the biggest such parade in the country—it’s recommended that drivers pretty much avoid Southie the day of and that attendees take the T or walk from more distant parking options.
