Charlestown townhouse includes five fireplaces, tiles from 1860

The 3,509-square-foot townhouse at 18 Cordis Street in Charlestown just dropped through Boston Portfolio Properties for a cool $2,499,000.

The 12-room spread includes five fireplaces as well as an apartment on the lower level ideal for the in-laws or for a little rental income on the side.

The whole shebang dates from 1860 and the original tiles from then can still be found in the entryway.
