What is your favorite square in the Boston area?

Squares are a famous feature of our fair region. Nowhere else in the U.S. will people routinely say that they live, work, or hang out on, at, or near “X square.”

For our latest Friday Open Thread, we want to know which is your favorite square and why.

Maybe it’s the square you live on or near. Or one that’s fun-slash-interesting to hang out amid. Or perhaps it’s one you’ve admired from afar, seeing it as some kind of summation of a neighborhood or a city (we get that way about Copley).
