Brookline ‘Mediterranean villa’ ends in hot tub and pool

Also nine fireplaces, library

The 20-room, 10,867-square-foot mansion at 166 Fisher Avenue in Brookline’s Fisher Hill area is gobsmacking even by that tony town’s standards.

The spread includes nine fireplaces, including one in the library, and both a year-round hot tub and an in-ground pool (and said hot tub has a fireplace). There is garaged parking for four and the potential for staff quarters on the third floor.

The Gibson Sotheby’s listing for 166 Fisher describes the whole shebang as a “classic Mediterranean villa,” and it’s kind of hard to argue with the descriptor.

The price, you ask? $4,900,000.
