Developer Related Beal hopes to start construction this spring on a 14-story residential complex at the former sites of Quinzani's Bakery and the Ho Kong Bean Sprout Co. at 370-380 Harrison Avenue in the South End.
The Boston Planning and Development Agency signed off on the project on March 2.
The 356,500-square-foot building is slated to contain around 324 residential units broken down thus so: 218 apartments and 96 condos. It’s supposed to have 8,500 square feet of ground-floor retail, and 63 units will be designated as affordable.
And, contrary to Related Beal’s revolutionary Lovejoy Wharf project in the West End, 370-380 Harrison will have a copious amount of parking: 180 spaces on three levels.
The project joins a wave of new development in that area of the South End. Stay tuned.
