Boston-based CRM Property Management has proposed replacing a mechanic, a foundry, a restaurant, and a vacant single-family home with a pair of five-story apartment buildings about three blocks from the Green Street stop of the Orange Line in Jamaica Plain.
The developer just filed plans with the city.
Altogether, the buildings would have 58 apartments ranging in size from studios to 3-BRs. There would also be around 850 square feet of commercial space in each, and 10 of the apartments would be designated as affordable.
The developments—at 3371-3375 Washington Street and 197-201 Green Street—would have 33 parking spaces between them and parking for bikes (and a gym and outdoor decks).
The project would be but the latest residential one in Jamaica Plain near the T.
