The 1,084-square-foot cottage at 145 Fifth Street in East Cambridge dates from the mid-1850s and is that rarest of birds in the People’s Republic: A bonafide single-family house asking well under $1 million—in this case, $739,000.
Not surprisingly, then, it went pretty fast.
The two-bedroom, one-bath dropped on the market on May 10 through Lara Gordon Caralis and Dino Confalone, and it went into contract on May 19.
Stay tuned for the close.
