Chestnut Hill mansion includes a pub among its 17 rooms

Among the 17 rooms of the mansion at 65 Essex Road in the Newton slice of Chestnut Hill is a pub.

The brick colonial also boasts six bedrooms, six full bathrooms, an incredible 9,282 square feet, a dark room (people still use those?), and a pool. There are also seven fireplaces.

Not surprisingly, 65 Essex is asking quite a mint through LandVest: $7.55 million.
