Ashmont Hill Victorian with designer bathrooms asking $749,000

117-year-old house

The 2,647-square-foot house at 10 Ashmont Street in Dorchester’s Ashmont Hill is a typically expansive and gorgeous example of the Victorians that can be had in Boston’s largest neighborhood.

But the house is particularly striking in its bathrooms, which the Gibson Sotheby’s listing describes as “designer” (though the first word that popped into our head was “rustic”).

The whole shebang, which dates from 1900 and has been majorly updated, wants $749,000. A steal, no?
