The average asking price for market-rate houses in Lincoln is $321 a square foot, according to real estate research site NeighborhoodX.
That sum means Lincoln’s house prices lag those in neighboring Concord ($349 a square foot) and Lexington ($387 a square foot).
The range that produces the average in Lincoln—which, fun fact, was named for Lincolnshire, England, and not for Abraham Lincoln—runs from $218 a square foot to $571 a square foot, according to NeighborhoodX research director and co-founder Constantine Valhouli.
