The 15-room, 8,607-square-foot Colonial Revival at 91 Middlesex Road in the Brookline slice of Chestnut Hill has had only two owners since its construction in the early 1890s.

The last time the seven-fireplace pile traded, in fact, was in June 1998 for about $2.7 million in today’s cabbage.

It’s on sale now through the Chamberlain Group for $4,475,000.

The house includes said fireplaces as well as the potential for eight bedrooms. It also boasts six full bathrooms and a landscaped yard.
