The average asking price for market-rate homes in Boston’s West Roxbury was $374 a square foot as of January 18, according to an analysis from real estate research site NeighborhoodX.
That average is culled from a range of $277 to $481 a square foot. See the chart below for further detail.
West Roxbury’s average is very similar to that of other cities and neighborhoods, according to NeighborhoodX research director Constantine Valhouli:
“To put these prices in context, West Roxbury is priced comparably to the city of Medford ($388 a square foot on average), and, within Boston, falls between Dorchester ($351) and Jamaica Plain ($448).”
