The colonial revival at 55 Irving Street in Brookline’s High Street Hill area dates from 1912, and like other houses in the immediate neighborhood it comes with some serious size.
There are seven and a half bathrooms, eight fireplaces, four floors (including a basement), and the potential for six bedrooms. The 5,483-square-foot house also has a foyer-slash-entry-hall bigger than many apartments a few miles to the east.
Such size—and the location—don’t come cheap: 55 Irving is asking $3.2 million through Hammond Real Estate.
