The nine-unit boutique condo building 100 A at—where else?—100 A Street in South Boston has launched sales through Jacob Carlin.

As one might expect, given the finishes, the amenities (including an on-site fitness center and plenty of parking), and the modern appliances (and the location), the luxury units are not going cheap.

The two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom Unit 4002 is asking $2.2 million—or more than $1,200 a square foot—and the two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom Unit 1002 is asking $1.849 million, or just over $1,000 a foot.

Crowning the whole affair, though, in location and aggregate price is the penthouse at 100 A, the listing for which provides the photos herein. The 3,801-square-foot four-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom with a rooftop terrace wants $5.25 million—or $1,381 a square foot.

What’d you think? A grand or more a square foot where A meets West Second?
