The bones of the 2,100-square-foot frame colonial at 86 Green Street just north of the Bunker Hill monument (and its museum) in Charlestown date from 1885.
Vestiges of that pedigree remain in the fireplace and the pumpkin-pine floors.
Then there are more the modern touches such as the chef’s kitchen and the double vanity in the main bathroom (never mind the central air).
The spread is on sale now through Nancy Roth at Gibson Sotheby’s for $1.275 million.
