The 1,175-square-foot Unit 4 at 197 Commonwealth Avenue along Back Bay’s super-quaint Commonwealth Avenue Mall includes plenty of shelf space as well as a classic fireplace.

The spread includes two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and faces south—lots of natural light, in other words.

The light and the space don’t come cheap, however. Unit 2 is asking $1,234 a square foot through Re/Max Leading Edge—or $1.45 million. That is a sizable amount of change even for Back Bay.
