The Boston area’s housing market is rarely a walk in the park for prospective buyers in general, but the market this spring could prove to be one of the most difficult ever.
Prices are up—particularly for condos—and inventory is down or at least unchanged. Meanwhile, demand is steady and mortgage rates are rising. All of these conditions will likely come together to create an especially competitive housing market during the traditionally busier spring months.
