Summer means many things in the Boston region, and one of those things is moving.
Thousands of people will switch homes in the region during the coming months—some dates are particularly popular for such hauls—and many people will move to the area altogether.
That leads us to our latest open thread: If you’re one of these people, how much are you paying for the privilege? Moving-company and rental-van fees can vary greatly based on variables such as distance, stairs, and pianos.
And then there are the parking fees that many municipalities require for reserving the necessary space in front of buildings and even houses.
