The average asking price for market-rate homes in Boston’s North End was $941 a square foot as of early June, according to an analysis from real estate research site NeighborhoodX.
That places the historic enclave squarely among Boston’s most expensive neighborhoods, one of about 10 where the average asking price hovers around $1,000 a square foot. Heck, in the Seaport District, it’s more like $2,000 a foot.
