Beacon Hill is not the first Boston neighborhood in which bargain hunters shop for homes, but a new analysis shows that there are relatively affordable options in the achingly charming enclave.

The 10 most affordable market-rate homes in Beacon Hill as of late June ranged in price from $499,000 to $899,000, according to real estate research site NeighborhoodX. And all are condos ranging in size from 360 square feet to 1,123 square feet.

What’s more, most of these most affordable units are clustered on Beacon Hill’s so-called north slope, while the pricier ones are on the south slope or the neighborhood’s flatland as it meets Back Bay.
