The Boston area is certainly home to some of the nation’s finest public art.
Major conceptual works mingle with prominent memorials, monuments, and markers. Heck, some of the region’s permanent infrastructure could be considered artistic in nature.
All of this leads to our latest open thread: Which newer works of public art are destined to be the most memorable? Or, put another way, which are the most exciting in terms of scope, ambition, and novelty?
And, while we’re at it, which planned works are you looking forward to the most? After all, the region tends to think big when it comes to this stuff.
