The 10 most affordable market-rate homes for sale in busy, busy East Boston at the start of July were scattered throughout the neighborhood. That is according to an analysis from real estate research site NeighborhoodX.
The least expensive and the most expensive listings by square foot, for instance, were both in Eagle Hill.
Such distribution, according to NeighborhoodX research director Constantine Valhouli, highlights “the economic diversity reflected in the fact that the neighborhood is offering a mix of more affordable renovations of historic properties as well as some much higher-end ground-up developments.”
By overall price, the 10 least expensive ranged from $310,000 for a 452-square-foot one-bedroom at 321-325 Meridian Street in Eagle Hill to $499,000 for a 1,170-square-foot one-bedroom at 1150 Bennington Street in Orient Heights.
None of the 10 were bigger than 1,250 square feet. See the interactive chart below for a deeper breakdown.
