The 15-room, 5,090-square-foot townhouse at 26 Holyoke Street in the South End has sold for $6.65 million, a record for single-families in the neighborhood, according to a release from listing agents Joe DeAngelo and John Ranco of Coldwell Banker that quoted MLS PIN.

The deal closed January 2. Joshua Golden of Luxury Residential Group represented the buyer.

The restored five-floor house with seven fireplaces dates from 1900, and includes three and a half bathrooms, front and rear parlors, and the potential for five bedrooms. There is also a four-car garage and space for a gym on the garden level.

A rooftop deck with a hot tub and a wet bar tops the whole affair. What’d you think?
