The bones of the Queen Anne Victorian at 86 Rockview Street in Jamaica Plain date from 1895, and the house retains plenty of that provenance in its ceiling medallions, woodwork, and other features.
The house—which is on sale through Unlimited Sotheby’s International’s Andrew Brilliant for $1.4 million—also includes a solarium and a hot tub as well as a koi pond out back. There are five bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms in the 2,864-square-foot spread.
It’s also got solar panels up top and a nice perch on a hill in JP.
