Cambridge Victorian with two formal living rooms on sale for $2.9 million

The Observatory Hill pile includes 10 rooms total and a yard that’s sizable for the People’s Republic

The 10-room, 2,661-square-foot Victorian at 34 Buckingham Street in Cambridge’s Observatory Hill area includes details dating from its circa-1882 birth, including the moldings, ceiling medallions, and parquet floors.

Otherwise, what really pops about the five-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom house is its current color scheme outside and inside and from room to room. There is also a sizable backyard—by Cambridge standards—and a wrought-iron-fenced balcony for beholding it.

Thirty-four Buckingham is on sale now through Re/Max Destiny’s David Lilley for a cool $2.9 million. Have a poke about.
