Big reveal: A Somerville single-family near a future Green Line stop

Few readers nailed this one—did you?

Address: 74 Derby Street

Price: $724,000*

The results: Only 13 percent of Curbed Boston readers guessed the correct asking for this 1,747-square-foot five-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bathroom in Somerville’s Ten Hills area.

The biggest vote-getter was $849,000 with 40 percent. Perhaps people noted that the single-family is near the future Gilmartin Square stop of the extended Green Line and added a major premium to their guesses.

Second place—$825,000 with 21 percent—was also a long ways off the actual asking; which, by the way, came down in recent days from $724,000 to $699,000.* Third place went to $789,000 with 17 percent. Thanks for playing.
